As with any boat, your going to have to adjust the cable from time to time. If your handy, I’ve included Stuarts links and the PDF’s to print out as a guide to adjust the shifting mechanism on the engine throw to the out drive. If your not handy, give it to your mechanic for tuning and seasonal maintenance. The mechanic will love you more and charge you less. Also, I found an online version of the Original OMC Manual in PDF format. There is also a Seloc hard copy manual that comes with the boat.
